It's been a few months since I wrote here in the blog so today I thought I'd actually sit down and write a few things. I've been busy making art, working on projects, and now find myself involved in a new one which looks like it might tie me up for a while. Cooking EdVentures is a new video series for EdVenture Children's Museum that I've been producing and directing. We had so much fun shooting the pilot episode (and EdVenture was so pleased with the results) that it looks like they are eager to do more with some sponsors. Not only were the kids amazing, but I'm also super happy that Jodi Paige of B106's Morning Show did our voice intro and end credits as well!
Chef Ashley and a few of the youth in her cooking class host an instructional cooking "show" of sorts where they prepare a recipe step-by-step until their meal is complete. Each episode is about 5 minutes long and is put together in a light-hearted format so you can follow along and learn how to cook as well. Guess what? You can also view our other video clips on my Vimeo account.
Another part of this program is that the food from the first episode was donated to the 153 Project, which feeds the hungry each Wednesday at Finlay Park here in Columbia, South Carolina. If you are interested in becoming a sponsor please contact Megan Galloway vie e-mail at: Megan@arcsc.org
And of course here a few behind the scenes photos put together.
